Well Download's latest announcement should put the Slipknot hopes to bed for those who wanted them. It does however leave the door wide open for Pearl Jam.

Many people thought they were the third headliner at Download due to leaks etc but theyre obviously not. Hopefully they are headlining in UK next year and it is at Leeds.

The headliners are pretty much what everybody at that festival wanted. You cant really argue with any of the bookings to be honest, although Im not sure if Slipknot have anything new since they last played. Im not sure whether theyre bringing Knotfest with them, which would at least be something fresh.

Personally, I have seen Maiden and Slipknot twice each and even though their stage show is amazing Ive never really got into Rammstein so would probably find myself at other stages whilst all 3 are on.

Im waiting to see who else is announced before buying tickets. Hoping for strong headliners on 2nd.

eFestivals have Black Sabbath down as strong rumour. Neil's sources are saying that FR are in talks with them!

I think Green Day are a good shout, that is of course if Billy is out of rehab. Blur would be cool. Maybe Red Hot Chilli Peppers? they're always mentioned

Going off Melvin Benn's comments and the first acts announced, headliners are going to be Tinie Tempah, Dizzie Rascal and Chipmunk

i think greenday will definitely be there, but we need some old school rock! pearl jam/metallica would be the best for a headliner

I've never done Leeds before I heard it can get a bit grimey more so than most festivals. Ive done a fair few fests in my time picked up a couple tricks of the trade. found some wash stuff called nilaqua thats pretty cool, portajohns of course,  plenty of inventive products out there. Any ideas guys?

System of a Down have announced festival dates in Europe for mid-august so I think that makes them very likely. They have only played once in the UK in the last 7-8 years so they could attract a decent sized crowd.

Either Headline or sub to Sabbath imo.

So Mumford & Sons are now a strong rumor on efests. Really hoping they aren't headlining, would be quite weak in that position. But my main problem with either them or Biffy headlining is that they both tour the UK a lot and Biffy are doing an 11 date tour this March so i imagine a lot of their fans will of already seen them so they aren't exactly in demand

I would like to suggest the new/fresh 3-piece original Girl Band 'The Bon Bonz' from Leeds for the main stage.

What do you think the chances of green day playing Leeds this year? They've been added to the rumoured list on efestivals. They only have 1 date in the UK this year.

I think Green Day are about as likely as The Bon Bonz...

Having played the secret set at Reading last year I cant see them coming back to headline both sites this year. I just cant see why they would, of course that doesnt make it impossible.
