Hello ladies, I'm off to my step-sis's wedding this year and need a dress. I bought the ASOS dream green dress but I don't think it's dressy enough. I'd quite like a glamorous beaded flapper dress (but not black!!) to wear or a Mad Men style a-line one. Any ideas for webbysites?

those aqua dresses came today. and omg they are so long!! like 2 inches too long for me :( the pink one isnt too bad as it is meant to be floor length but the flapper one is ridiculous!! hopefully i can just fold the belt up o it doesnt drag on the floor. waaaa

well the black one with the fringe skirt is two seperate peices. it's a plain black dress, and the fringing is a belt with i can button on but i can just roll it up around the waistband and it should be fine :)

Getting excited for the prospect of birthday dolla and buying clothes for the first time since the start of summer so I've been making a mental list. So far I want to get a Drake ovo sweater and some new bras.
 
Also right I need some work wear help! For my interview this month I'm gonna have to go formal and I don't feel like anything I have is quite upscale enough. So I'm thinking I might get a suit cos if I get the job I'll need to wear one anyway/if not it'll do for interviews and work. So any tips on lady suits is appreciated. (Wanna get a skirt one).

I bought THE NICEST dress I think I have ever seen at the Plus London meet last night, a fat-friendly vintage boutique was there and the lady who runs it was so nice and I just saw it on the rails and tried it on and everyone was like arghhh you have to get it and I've never felt so amazing as I did because even though I'm totally fine with my body (and don't think they're important at all) sincere compliments are something I rarely get and it was amazing to be in such a supportive atmosphere with women who think and look the same as me. I wish I could just be in that sort of fat-acceptance, body-loving atmosphere all the time.
 
Anyway its a red pleated skirt with a lace bodice and its just heavenly.

I'm afraid I can't give much advice on lady suits, except I have a nice suit jacket from Next and they seem to do loads of work wear, so that might be a good place to start.
