There's no video game thread already is there? I don't know how many of you play video games to be honest, but I wanted a thread on it and I gets what I wants. Tell me what you've been playing recently/what you're looking forward.
 
I bought Deus Ex and adore it. I'm playing through on the hardest mode and it is ridiculously hard. Just finished the first boss after about 20 tried, even though the concept of doing it was fairly easy.
 
Also Dead Island came out today and I'm debating whether or not to buy it. The trailer is one of the best I've ever seen for a video game.

There used to be a sub-forum but it appears to have dissipated. Cyberspace funds are clearly lacking after Leeds failed to sell out.
 
I'm playing an unhealthy amount of F1 2010 and Halo Reach still. I've got a review copy of Driver: San Francisco and F1 2011 coming over the coming weeks which I'm both looking forward to. Also anticipating Gears 3 but I'll likely just give it a rent unless they've fixed the multiplayer. Apparently Dead Island is bug-ridden but ridiculously fun.
 
Not that the above matters because once Skyrim comes out, every other game (aside from F1 2011) is irrelevant.

Ordered Dead rising 2 and Left 4 dead 2, which came they other day so they will be next.
 
Also pre-ordered Gears of war 3, out on the 20th and can't wait.

Yeah Dead Island has lots of bugs, but they're working hard on patches.
 
Skyrim looks brilliant but I say that about all Elder Scrolls games and then never finish them.
 
I haven't played either of the Left 4 Dead games but they look really fun and intense, especially when playing multiplayer.

got the orange box a while ago and been playing that a hell of a lot
 
so far im working my way through half life 2 which is incredible £10 for 5 brilliant games is defiantly worth it

I really should buy Half Life 2 but I don't play video games on my PC enough. I want Amnesia too cos I STILL haven't played it. I have Portal 2 that I still haven't started yet either, and I'm only halfway through the first.

These are my staple. I'd never need another console/game ever again. I could play OOT for the rest of my life and be happy. 
Goldeneye is a good shout too but my friends got my controller with rumble pack [yeah check me ;)] and the cartridge. I'm gonna bagsey it back when I go.

Being a nerd used to be something to be ashamed of...now people think it's kewl and boast about how they got the hight score on the latest western imperialism generator....It's messed up....Jock is not dead. Bash all nerds.

OoT WAS brilliant. Fantastic game. Also, why does everyone who doesn't play video games assume all video game players are nerds? Why can't a "jock" as you say go home and chill out with a video game after footie? I'm not gonna attempt to argue that I'm not a nerd, I probably am.

Yeah I am pretty much buying a 3ds just for Zelda. Well I was until I saw that they are releasing LYLAT WARS on it. Incredible game. And a new Mario Kart!
