With the most possible time before the next Leeds festival, I think it's the best time to start properly asking about touted Leeds tickets.
Is there any reason at all why Festival Republic couldn't ditch Viagogo and sign up to The Ticket Trust:
http://www.thetickettrust.com/ It's run by the Association of Independent Festivals, recommended by bands including Radiohead, and used by festivals like Creamfields and Bestival. It's an extremely well run secondary ticket site which verifies tickets (eliminating all chance of fraud) and resells at face value, reimbursing the seller in full. For those of you who don't know, Festival Republic (who run Leeds festival) currently works with Viagogo, where tickets can be sold anything up to 3 times face value with the profits going straight into the pockets of people who've done nothing to deserve it.
They do add 10% handling fee onto every sale (which is still cheaper than Vioagogo - for leeds it would work out at £19) but it goes back into the independent music scene. It's recommended and run be people in the music industry, not the ticketing industry, so they understand the fans perspective and aren't so concerned with the profit.
So, why are Festival Republic still working with touts when there's a viable alternative?
