In a tizz about halls! Basically we have builders ______ this far away from the window, my carpet is rotten, the wood of the bathroom is rotten, our kitchen stinks and three of my four flat mates are proper arses. Just been offered to move into a new flat but don't know what to do because everyone will already know each other and don't want it to be awkward!

If it's that terrible where you are, it sounds like moving would be a good idea if the other place is definitely nicer. Have you seen the other flat? Also a couple of people moved from other halls into my block just after the holidays and they're already settled into the group so I don't think it'll be too awkward.

That's good to know. Think i'm going to but going to see if I can go into the flats first, obviously don't want to move into a tip or with a load of people who don't speak English. Hopefully will be alright seen as our flat is so grotty. Surely it can only be an improvement haha.

I'd have a nosey at the flat, see if it's in better condition and if the people seem any nicer. No point in moving if it's exactly the same condition and everyone seems a bit arsey.

Sat down to try writing about the last year of my life, who I was working for and whatnot, kind of autobiographical, just to see it on paper, not expecting much.  Somehow managed to write 7700 words and i'm not even half way through what I want to say.  Potential novel on my hands.
