I just looked and this is indeed their fifth year in a row! They played the dance tent in 07 and 08, and then NME tent in 09 and 10 as if

i know it's too late to complain.. but just watched melvin on nme.com talking about the line-up on a video, and he says that all three are UK exclusives, with muse being european exclusive too. i just feel harshly done to although i do like the line-up and stuff, seems strange

well it was said online that playing headlining (strong rumours) were, foo fighters/MCR, soundgarden/muse, stokes/pulp. and they've gotten both strokes AND pulp so whats to say the others won't play either? i mean foo's could easily take over headlining. and soundgarden just under muse.. i mean it's a big leap between elbow and muse as far as size is concerned specially when some of the sub headliners in the past have been far bigger than what we have on this line up.... soundgarden could EASILY slip under muse and foo's above MCR... don't rule it out

I'm pretty sure foos havent been down as strong rumour on efests this year. If your talking about virtual festivals (I haven't checked them this year) feel free to ignore them. they generally put down every possibility imaginable, and therefore always get a few right. they don't seem to use any actual 'sources' as such.

The only time when a headliner would be taken over/replaced is if they pulled out

yeah i can't find it. not the biggest fan of foo fighters anyway if i'm honest. but then again i'm not a fan of MCR either but they do tend to put on a fairly decent live show.

It's just a ridiculous suggestion that Leeds would change their headliner after it had already been announced. Would just be an unthinkable situation

I agree with what eddie said, i'm not a big foo fighters or mcr fan but I'd definitely preffer foo fighters, but the idea that mcr would just give up the slot and the foo fighters would just walk in and fill it is completely absurd
oh man this gets funnier and funnier with every sip of my coconut rum!! Last Efemé Tweeter
